Szakadát Pasture Nature Reserve
Extending over just a few hectares in the outskirts of the village Szakadát, this nature reserve owes its existence to the occurrence of a rare protected plant here.
The autumn lady’s tresses spiranthes flowers in early autumn on these loess-covered hills. Traditional grassland management is essential for the survival of the population of this fragile, small orchid species.
Declared to be protected: 3/1989. (II.22.) KVM decree.
Size of the protected area: 3.5 ha
